Sparrows are seen here but appear thinly distributed.
Never big flocks seen , only 12/15 birds maximum flock size 25/30 birds.
There is acute air pollution in the area, which is possibly effecting the overall bird life.
Body colouration seems more black owing tothe black chute emitted by steel industries.
A details study is needed to assess the change in habits, regeneration capacity of sparrows and other birds in this pocket, which possibly nobody has thought , so far. |
