Nita Puri - residential area Chanakya Puri New Delhi Delhi

We lived in a house with open verandahs and the sparrows flew in and out all the time.They made nests in the cups under the ceiling fans and we were always afraid that the sparrows would get killed.The fans were not used if they made their nests and the chicks hatched.There was a medium sized guava tree in the back yard and hundreds of sparrows came to roost in the evening ant the chirping of so many sparrows was music to our ears.
