Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | On 09 Dec 2006, fire was set in the debris, in backyard , many species like House sparrows- about 80/90, Asian Pied Starling-20,Indian Robin - a pair, Oriental Magpie Robin - male, Common Myna -6 and Laughing doves -4 , collected on near by small trees,all in quest to capture the insects emerging , due to disturbance caused by fire. Of all these, sparrows & Magpie Robin were the first to start proceedings AND captured insects for about 5 minutes then left the place. |
