I have mostly seen male and female sparrows hopping about together or in close proximity to each other. These friendly neighbourhood birds are attracted to marigold flowers in search of seeds. So if you scatter a few these flowers on the ground, many sparrows will congregate. If there is a pot of water nearby, nothing could be better to cheer their little hearts. |
