| Tell us more about yourself | I am a research scholar pursuing PhD in "Environmental education for Children".The decision to take up research study was more out of concern for the degrading eco system and an attempt to create awareness amongst children how important it is for them to be pro active and bring in life style changes.As a part of my passion for eco-conservation I have been doing my best in conservation of bird population in my own locality apart from other related activities like water conservation etc.There are sparrows in our locality and we are creating awareness amongst residents the importance of conserving these little beauties.Our work has been well appreciated and our recent event on World Sparrow day,20th March 2012 has been appreciated and reported in local newspapers and Sakshi TV(This is available on youtube:"sparrows are disappearing-Sakshi Tv) |
