Achholi was visited on 11 Jan 2009, in quest of migratory birds in vill tanks, which used to have good numbers in past years. since 1990 large industries have come in this pocket and badly destroyed the local enviornment.
In residential area hardly 20/25 sparrows could be seen, scattered.
On interrogation , residents revealed that birds have migrated else where due to heavy pollution in this pocket ?
