This area is walking distance from my home. I often walk down to metro station through this area. It is actually a "lal dora" area inhabited by the villagers. Last week, as I was returning back home through the same route, in the evening, to my surprise, I heard the pleasant chirping sounds of the house sparrows. I looked up to find 2- 3 sparrows on a tree, in a small park in this area. This is for the first time that I have seen these birds here. I hope to see these again in the area, and for more sparrows to join in!
