| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | its of the time we shifted to our new home..in newest development area sector-15. At the back of our home was a temple area in outskirt of the sector surrounded by a large patch of eucalyptus trees. every day,every evening we could hear roosting of these birds..so much loud... birds roosted and fly back to eucalyptus trees. it use to happen for at least 15 to 20 mins i think. we were so use to that roosting sound and literally it indicated sign of evening arriving to me as a child. No trees now because of urbanization and sector extension..infact houses stand on once a huge patch of euacalyptus trees... and temple too is surrounded by houses only.No trees...no more birds now...no more roosting sounds.. miss that old music...of birds roost... and that humble sign of dusk arriving... |
