Past 6 months ago,i visited the Co-operative society of my locality at the time of nearly 10:30 at night. I came across a chirpping sound when i was entering the office. After a keen observation, I came across a nest of a house sparrow in the corner of a window on the second floor of the building.I was pleased to see 2 young ones of a house sparrow lying in the nest. But I observed that mother sparrow was not present there. As every man does,I too went near them,and started observing,but suddenly i noticed that they were very hungry.So,as my home was nearby,I ran out there and brought some water and cooked rice and bajra for them.I too brought some cotton to feed water to them.then I Fed them rice and bajra with the help of sticks from broom and fed them water with the help of cotton.My this precious encounter with them continued for nearly 1 hour.Then I left the place with a sad feeling in the deep of my heart caring about those young babies.
Having curiousity in my mind about them,I Managed some time to visit them 2 days later.But it was shocking for me to not see them there.I enquired about them,and them came to conclusion that they might have fall from the window.As the window was on the 2nd floor,they might have lost their live...!
so it was a pleasant as well as a hurting experience for me.
