| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | Thankfully, LIC Colony is very green, lots of trees. I generally wake-up with the chirping of sparrows and the noisy crows, followed by parakeets, mynas, tailor birds, etc. I've also spotted white throated kingfisher, red vented bulbul, coucal, golden oriole and in the summers kokila.
Sparrows are mainly seen early in the morning and in the evening around 4 - 5 pm. Of late I feel the sparrows have become lesser. Maybe its due to the construction activity.
Lots of monstrous buildings like Aqua Grande and other redevelopment projects are coming up in the area, probably it disturbs the birds. |
