| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | Here I am talking about a location, which is my parents residence since 1985. The colony was newly built then, and I used to visit along with my children during summer vacations. It was fun to observe large number of sparrows and feed them grains of rice early in the morning. My children were small and loved watching the birds- so many of them.
My parents still live at the same place and I go there quite often. But I do not find as many sparrows now. Rather, there are pigeons in large numbers.
The area is well populated, with increased number of cars and of course mobile phones. There is nice vegetation as well. |
