Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | Kishtwar is remotely situated town along the left bank of river Chenab in deep Himalayas and is now HQ of district Kishtwar. Town is located on high plateau surrounded by mountains. Till Kuchha houses were in the town lot of sparrows were seen but over the period with cemented construction and mobile towers the population started declining. In periphries of town there is relatively good population and the nest are made in the jungle or bushes. Government should take conservation measures to save the sparrows and find out whether there is effect of Mobile towers on the decline of population. Nesting is another big problem for sparrows. |
