Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | This locality, which even at this pont in time, continues to be a village, but getting encroached by urban expansion, has a Hindu temple and by the side of the temple, there is a tree which is not commonly seen in other parts. Villagers told me that this tree is called urumi tree in Tamil and the present reporter is trying to get the tree identified by a botonist and this will be reported soon. In this tree about 30 sparrows always live eating the grains strewn there by devoteed. Sparrows are not seen anywhere except on this tree in this area. Surprising. I am trying to find the the real reason/ for this happy situation. More news will follow |
