| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | When I shifted to my newly purchased building at Basera Vihar, Kalyanpur, Lucknow, which was constructed some ten years back and was lying abandoned except that some caretakers lived there, I found a large number of sparrows around. There were many nests also in my house. Sadly, during repairs, plastering and other construction work some birds might have lost their nests. Birds kept visiting the house as their own native homng place and fighting for nestings. They will fight their images on window panes for hours together. Nearby my home, in lantana bushes, where there are some acacia trees, there still abound large flocks of sparrows. They breed there in large numbers. At one time I even wanted to use that plot as breeding ground and for conservation of Sparrows.
