Some days back, i was really wondering what happened to all the sparrow population in the locality and today i saw this article in timesofindia about the survey. I remember the chirping noise which used to wake me up in the morning. They all are gone now. Hardly i observe any sparrow, forget about the nest. And its more of a sudden, drastic drop i observed. Cant be isolated to my place, as this survey itself tells me that its a world wide event. |
