My house in the above mentioned area seems to be a nesting area for few birds. During the spring & summer, we were woken by the chirps of the house sparrows. Since it is a big space, while I may have heard sparrows near my window only, there were few nests all over the house at different locations. I am not sure if it was the same family that nested at different spots. However, around 2009, many changes in the colony have reduced the number of chirps. We have had new housing apartments, our neighbors built another floor in the house & the heat rose. Since 2010, I've observed nests in relatively shaded areas around the house, but heard much less chirping.
