The area has plenty of fisher folk living along the lane, and a road with a wholesale market. The sparrows seemed quite comfortable, or good size and healthy, hopping about and catching grain or other items from the flagstones.

The sparrows at the airport hop about near the dosa stall, hoping for some crumbs. It's wonderful to see that they are still there, because from the rest of Bangalore we have seen them vanishing over the years. The authorities should do something to conserve their nests.
