earlier many a times the sparrows tried to make nests in my first floor residential flat, particularly in the drying space eg inside small shelf fixed to the wall,in the niche behind the geyser fixed to the wall. a no of times my maid servant cleaned the area but of late i did not encounter such nests. occasionally they entered my flat also and i captured one of them and released. at present everyday during my morning (0700-0800 AM)walk i find few of the sparrows regularly on the road inside our society. most of the time they are nibbling something and fly away the moment you come closer to them.the sparrows are found inside the society, though there are a large number of black crows and white egrets are also present. our society does not have any mobile tower.the society has big central lawn and a fair number of common trees and flowering trees regularly maintained by paid staffs. once in our college at Kamothe which is around 05 kms from my society, a number of saporrows appeared in the classroom window seals and made huge noise, so that i had to tell my students to shoo them away . that happened 3-4 years back.at present we wake up in the morning with the chirping of sparrows
