I am living in this house for about 2 years now. I first felt surprised to see sparrow in City area. I love to hear the chirpy noise every morning while waking up. A small sparrow family (3 or so) live in the apartment adjacent to us. There is a small left over piece of land between these 2 apartments. Some grass is growing in this area and the mother sparrow searches for food for its chick and feed it.
I also feel that these are able to live in this area because the signal strength is not adequate for cell phones, but may be under the influence of information circulated around about the microwave affecting eco-system.
I also heard that coconut is also getting affected by microwave signals. Not very sure how true it is though.
