I used to live in this area and that was the time when my interest in wildlife started growing. In the early days of this time period i used to see lot of sparrows around that place and their nests also in hedges and houses. But as the time went by, their numbers started declining and during the last days of my stay there, i hardly noticed any sparrow in the area.

I used to see Sparrows whenever i visited this area, but now since i have shifted to this place after completing my masters, i have been seeing these birds regularily. This area has a river tributory called Tons in the backdrop and a patch of forest which increase the ecological richness of the place. Recently i have observed that the Sparrows are nesting and they are present in a fair number in this locality.
