this is the place from where my father belongs to..so very frequently we visit this place..from my childhood onward we have seen a lots of house sparrows in this place...

Earlier during period from 1994 to 1996 in my childhood as per as I remember I have seen a very large no.s of House Sparrows but at present the number has declined. Earlier grain storage houses were made up of thatch and bamboo roofed but now days roofs are made up of RCC roofs and tin sheets.
This may be reason for their declination in numbers.

i have noticed sparrows everytime in some small holes present in the body of a overbridge in that area. these may be their modern houses!!!!
