Back Garden of Apartment and Nearby Open Ground Lic colony Jeevan Beema Nagar Tamil Nadu
There were lots of open spaces in the then LIC colony behind Chennai Public School at collector Nagar. Everyday behind my house there was a small garden of 10*20mts. there used to be a Drumstick tree and i have seen several pairs of sparrows there evry day. Now all the gardens and free spaces are gone turned into car parks and new apartments. Do not know if they still exist.

Bus Stand Inter state bus terminus, Kullu Kullu Himachal Pradesh
The interstate bus terminus at Kullu, is a very bustling place with a small garbage dump nearby and several shops also nearby, i was there during Feb - March of 2011. above the ticket reservation office, a small slab was present where there were active nests of both Sparrows and Swallows. though i did have a question on their coexistence they were living close by each other. saw lots of birds around 6-7 pairs

A mall Vasant Kunj II New Delhi Delhi
The sparrows are in a completely closed environment, its the food court of dlf promenade mall, which has a high ceiling, chandeliers, and 6 artificial palm trees and 4 artificial ficus benjamina trees. the sparrows have createed their nests in the artificial trees,(the tissue papers were taken into these trees top bunch of leaves to make nests). they have plenty of food as its the food court.
There were around 3 males and 5 females when observed.

Amphitheatre of college Vasant Kunj Institutional Area New Delhi Delhi
There are two Ficus Benjamina Trees within the college campus, amphitheatre. 50 metres to the north and east are the regenarating Aravalli biodiversity park. There are two pairs of sparrows living in these two trees, they share the tree with sunbirds, eurasian collared doves.the food is usually from the cafeteria, or insects which are plenty from the collge plants and from the nearby biodiversity park.
