i have seen sparrows ocassionally there are more frequent in the area where the kirana shop is located. as with my earlier experience with house sparrows they r quite friendly & come into the house but in this area, they do not. they are outside the house only. also we have sliding windows not those earlier open type shutters. the area is outskirts but is getting developed rapidly & there are corn fields around, also lots of construction going on. ive lived here for the past 2 1/2 yrs.
