After reading an article in Times of India about dwindling population of sparrows (also I once killed a sparrow while playing with Catty-I was filled with remorse and guilt feeling was gnawing at my mind) so I decided to do my bit for the Sparrows. Firstly, after spotting a couple of sparrows, I started to spread Paddy in front of my shop in market in KGF. To my wonder and delight now I can boast that their population has grown to about 25-35 nos and same numbers near my Home. Seeing this, about two or three friends have also developed interest in sparrows and they are also doing the same. Especially one person even went to the extent of making nests of cardboard and distributing them free.
