So far there used to be 3- 4 birds in the morning. Day before yesterday it rained and weather was cloudy on yesterday- morning. I was surprised to see 8- 9 house sparrows on the roof of my house at about 7.00 a.m., usual time for feeding the pigeons.
I took pictures of the birds. Can these pics be uploaded?

I have been observing house sparrows from my childhood. That time I was living in a nearby village. Every day there used to be very many birds in the vicinity with several nests.
In last few years the number was drastically reduced.
Last year I started feeding pigeon in the morning and then observed about 2 to 5 birds at least 3 days in a week. Though I do not have seasonal record but have spotted them these days.
