This is good news. For the first time I have noticed one feamle sparrow in this area. They could be nesting in the tree near the shops - the shopkeeper says that there used to be more sparrows earlier, now there are just a few.

have seen sparrows in the vegetable market and wholesale market for rice and pulses. they can also be seen in the adjoining area( Bhavani nagar) in the trees and bushes
