Yes! I lived about a KM from the bus stop and a baby sparrow had fallen down on the ground close to my home. So I picked it up and took it home. Immediately the neighbours told me that the mother will disown the sparrow if humans hold it for long. So I put it in a box, took it to my mum, who fed it some grains I think. We then left it on the roof of our Red brick tiled home. It wasn't there when I checked the next day.
