So many sparrows observed at noon, right in the middle of the vegetable market. Several of them fearlessly came to sit on mounds of vegetables set up by vendors and the sparrows fearlessly chose to feast on fresh "Pavta", beans, peas etc. They did not mind the swing in the vendors scale and the vendors too did not mind the sparrows ocassionally picking up a few fresh beans, peas etc. What I opbserved on 05-04-2012 was most of them were males

My wife feeds them grain and water regularly. They are frequent visitors and are perfectly comfortable around our busy households. So much so that occasionally they are comfortable to the extent of mating !
