I could remember that , durig the year
1995, nearly 2000 to 3000 housesparrows
were seen at my native , ie, at kallidaikurichi. during course
nearly 18 cell phone towers have been errected.after this, the nubers of housesoarrows diminished , mainly because of the RADIATION REMITTED BY THEM. In some cases , the distance between two towers is less than 150 / 200 meters . this may be the main reason for this.

my friend mr. meenaxi sundaram ( retd. Jt. Registrar of co-operative socities )is residing there. he has provided 3 nests made of card board & thermocool sheets. 8 sparrows are dwelling there now.daily in the morning,he or his wife puts some cooked rice or paddy grains on the compound wall & all the sparrows come & eat .
