I am living in my locality for past 30 + years. In my School days i have seen sparrows regulary coming to my colony ...roaming around. Sometimes i see them building nest in my home (verrandha). Now a days i see them rarely. I started feeding the Birds like (Crows, Pigeons) regualry with some grains, thinai and Sun Flower Seeds and place a bowl of water. Regularly i see Crows and Piegons come to my terrace and eat grains or drink water. But to my suprise I see a sparrow coming and eating the grains and drinking water. From that day onwards i regularly place the grains and thina in the same place where the sparrow comes and eat. Now a days i see 3 or 4 sparrows coming to my terrace. Sparrows has become a regular visitor to my terrace garden. Some times i forgot to keep the grains. But Sparrows coming to my terrace regularly made me to keep grains and water on the terrace as a first task i woke up in the morning. I am very happy to see the Spparows back to my home.
