Earlier, there used to be trees and gardens with hell lot of sparrows but now-a-days its diminishing drastically.
We had many nests in our surrounding where we used to see the newly hatched-out baby sparrows pinkish in color. I have personally first-aided two young sparrows. What I have observed is they have special attraction for thorny Indian Babul tree and bajra. Many people do kill them with sling-slots for entertainment or god-know-what reasons. God save sparrows
