I have been living in this area for 2/3 decades. Last few years, I had the impression that sparrows have vanished from here. Seldom saw them in my lawn. But lately, I get the feeling, they are coming back. I often see them in pairs or in small nos. But once, about 4 months back, I saw a large no. (twenty or so)perched on a wire in the market of sector 14. It was sometime in the morning (8 or 9 am).
