There are a large number of sparrows here. They seem to be in two flocks, and a total of approximately 50 birds. The birds feed in the street and nest in the windows of apartments.

The sparrows here feed on crumbs left from a sandwich vending stall. I have seen their numbers increase slightly. They seem to be thriving, but are vulnerable to the loss of the sandwich shop.
