Our house constructed in 1920 around my grand father, since it was same untill 2006, so lot of space in our house and lot of plants for ex: Neem, Gauva, Subabul, Aegle mermelos, Tamarind, Custard apple, Acacia etc were there, they made lot of nest in the walls of our home as well as holes of wooden roofs and floors, our family have to care of all the sparrow to feeding broken sorghum, rice and kitchen leftover, in the evening we hear very lot of noise of these sparrows those days in my home, i saw many time during heavy rain lots of mortality of these sparrow in my home, their eggs and young ones we saw many fallen from nest we saw routinely,we kept without touching the young one in their nest in absence of sparrows.those memories were till in my mind, wheneve I use to go my native I feel looking those holes, floors, wall spaces, now also we have but very few. i know because of radiation, pollution, modernization and urbanization we are loosing a sparrows in our village. So, we should take care of these birds to sustain their livelihood and improving the biodiversity.
