My childhood was spent at my grandpa's home, where koyal bird and sparrows were found more frequently, my mom still remember that when i started walking on my own, i use try to catch sparrows, while eating and at the time to go to sleep i use to play with sparrows, afterwards we moved to another residential area of the town, where birds are hard to see!
In april 2010 my grand father expired, that was the time to clear all his belongings from our old house located in parasuram street, the roof was untouched from last several years..early in the morning i climbed the sunside of the untatched house and found nests of sparrows and nearly 30 sparrows there, all the birds flew from there and i cleared my grandpa's belongings without hindering the sparrow nests.
after wards we left that house free and no one resided there till last december. the only house of the street where sparrows can be seen is our's. From this december my grandma resides there, she is not finding sparrrows there much frequently as before and she is been saying that sparrows left this place along with my grandpa!!
i can see some sparrows at the market and at the rice mill in the outskirts of the town frequently
