The pair of male and female sparrows enter frequently in our residential area these days, which is nesting time for them, i know it from my childhood, grown up in small village. They are trying to find some space in the house but not able to. However, they are more attracted to our outer seating room where we have falls roof of POP and some space is created. But we have doors mostly closed. So they are unable to make a nest. But whenver the door is open they will come. They also enter from one of the broken glass panel of stair windows. My young son of 1 and 1/2 year age become very happy by seeing the pair. He runs behind them room to room. Ultimately my wife get them out from the house and close the door. I am thinking some time that if i can make a space for them around my house for their nest. I found Eurosean dove nesting continously on roof of house since last three years, where we have stored the remains of plywood pieces after use in furniture. But i dont find any nest of house sparrow nearby. When young we used to find nest at our village, sometimes even touched the eggs. But in recent year not seen any nesting. May i have someday creat a place for nesting of house sparrow.
