I worked in Dimapur, Nagaland from April 2011 to April 2012. We lived in BH Towers, circular Road. Daily we used to get woken up by the chirping of the sparrows. We used to buy bajra and spread on the window top of the opposite building. Then so many sparrows used to come and eat. It became a habit for them and they used to wait for the food. If we do not spread the grains, they used to ask for it by making so much noise. Some times we have seen Love sparrows which feed each other. Sparrow watching gave us much pleasure. At the time of leaving the place, we felt very much that we are going to miss the sparrows. It was really a memorable time for us.
