This is the period when the locality i live, was growing like anything.. lots of buildings, mobile towers, Inner Ring Road(IRR) work were being carried and the big lake in our area was divided and reduced to half due to IRR work and the local municipality dumped their garbages on one part of divided lake increasing the risk of losing ground water and the species like Sparrow and Cukkoo getting disappeared that we used to watch.

I used to watch lots of sparrows and i love to hear the chriping sound in the mornings in my school days.. we used to feed grains often from our open terrace and have also attempted to grow in our house. But, unfortunately as it was becoming weak once we caught, we dont want to let the bird do die. we left it and watched its take-off so happily. those were the days that were unforgottable. My area was near-by a big lake which used to span across half km. But now-a-days as there were lot of technology developments (like flyovers, mobile towers, flats covering open spaces)in our area and the size of the big lake reduced to more than half, it is unimaginable how the tiny species have lost its home ground..
