I have already described in my earlier entry on how I used to see flocks of these lovely birds. However, now a days, I hardy see any sparrows for months at a time.

I still stay in the same locality and the same building. the storeroom in our flat has a ventilation window with open grills (1ft x 1ft). This space used to be enough for a sparrow to build a nest, and that happened very often (almost once every month). we had to clean the area before the nest was built and we missed there would already be a patch and sometimes eggs. I used to love animals, so I would climb the stool and observe the young ones very closely. Very happy memories.
Sadly, today, no nests and absolutely no sparrows.
