The place is my native place. I have been there in the village from 1984. Back then, there was a time when there were lots of cute little sparrows flying all around the houses and temples. But as time went by, in the recent days when i visit the place i see very less number of those birds compared to the time when i was a kid. There are big houses which can be an ample nesting area for them. But still i see a very less number compared to the past. I am not sure if this is due to the climatic change which i can feel the difference over these 27 years.

We used to have sparrows all around our house, mostly because of the open spaces, trees and old construction. Around the end of 80s, they disappeared.

I have noticed that there were no sparrows seen earlier but now we are beginning to see a few of them daily. I haven't looked out for sparrow houses though.
