We n chennai wen people construct house they used to keep a small wooden board attached to the roof at the entrance for sparrows to make nest n t ths was b4 ten years now ths not so as a result the number of sparrows seen as also declined. But we can see crows and pigeons squirrels n large n chennai cities I too have pets lyk 2cocks 8 lovebirdd early mrnk I used to feed pigeons crows squirrels n my terace.

yeah i want to the sparrows played up and down the treee frequently as i was standing down the tree.they beated on me but it was so small i could not get aware of it.

There is rapid development with modern architecture going over here. Lived in one of those new buildings. Never saw a sparrow. Never came across my mind. In the few remaining older buildings sometimes I get to see sparrows but no nests just flying across.

sparrows are were good birds to observe and they are very good to see wen they are in groups .i used to feed them when i used to feed my birds but nowadays they got reduced in numbers due to our comfort levels
