R K Sandhir - My flat terrace bird feed bowls Pocket E, Sarita Vihar New Delhi Delhi 110044

I am reporting for the period 1993 to 2013. In 1993 this area had less housing but thousands of house sparrows could be sighted daily. Gradually sparrows disappeared by 2005. Since last two years they have started being sighted. Bird population has increased once again probably due to new trees all around but parrot population has decreased and peacock sightings have increased. Today morning I sighted about ten sparrows feeding from bird seed bowls placed on my terrace. Normally I sight pigeons, doves, parrots, squirrels, crows, slightly bigger multi-coloured sparrow like birds and what we call "BUTER" which are multi-coloured birds like nightingales but fatter and occasionally nightingales.

im often seeing large of number of sparrows were sitting in the power cable line over the agriculture fields.i think they are having their nest in the bushes nearby because i saw a few birds were came out from the bushes so i guess.they dont come into our locality where we are living.they only stay outside from us i dont know the reason for this because 12 or 15 yrs ago there are lot of sparrows had their nest in our home and they tried to cluster our mirrors but now i didnt see a single bird.pls suggest me some ideas to get back that birds......
