Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period?I love birds , especially sparrow. I was in Agra doing my graduation and when I returned to my home town I noticed there are no sparrows or are seen rarely. I started keeping clean water and lots of grains for them. Usually they eat Kakun and Bajra. It has been 3 months now and daily about 100 sparrows and birds come and feed in my house. Initially few of them came , and fed . Not even whole grain was consumed but gradually I had to keep grains several times a day , sometimes upto 10-15 times. I usually spread it all over my boundary so that they don't fight. Now every morning at 4 they come and sit on my boundary or on the poles opposite my house and wait for me to keep grains. I love doing that. 500gms of grain is finished in 7-10 days. Please all of those who read it , do the same. It won't cost you much , but will save a whole lot of sparrows. Watching them is delightful experience. This info is of 2014. It didn't show up as an option.
