Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | This area is an old housing board colony close to the beach.Sparrows roost in specific trees in fairly large numbers (favour poovarasan tree (thespesia populnea)).Saw a large number of nests (rougly 10) in boxes installed by the electricity dept in each colony.Spotted a nest on top of the shutter of a tea shop.Encouragingly a few people have kept cardboard boxes in front of their homes and sparrows have nested there. |
