| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | Nests were a regular feature in our garden and in the niches of our house. We often saw sparrows feeding the young. And as school children it was quite exciting to 'rescue' the occasional baby bird.
In a nearby house, there were Jack Fruit trees which used to be full of sparrows. So much so that it used to be difficult to hear anything else beyond the chirping in evening. That sound is lost now. |
