Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | My thoughts: Considering my Sales job in north i have been touring punjab Haryana Himachal J&K since last 4 to 5 years. And i feel very sad to say that Sparrows has nearly extinted from Plane areas like Punjab & Haryana. I Have not seen sparrows in Punjab and haryana urban areas at all, only few can be seen in rural remote areas. Where as considering himachal & J&K i feel situation is still better as you can see few sparrows in these states. But overall numbers has gone down to few as compare to thousand around 8 to 10 years back. Being electronics & telecom engineer, i have my friends who are working in telecom companies and it is really a true fact that they have seen dead sparrows neaw microwave BTS towers all the places. I think Microwave due to telecom network is the major reason behind this massive disaster. |
